Growing c-store sector benefits from grab-n-go convenience

Convenience stores were the only food retail channel to see growth in both unit sales and dollar sales in 2012 compared to 2011, and are entering "a new era of growth and sophistication," said Bonnie Herzog, senior analyst for Wells Fargo. This is in part driven by more better-for-you offerings and foodservice options.
