Students at a Kansas middle school are participating in a Crime Scene Investigation unit that engages students in math, science, history and language arts lessons while they investigate campus "crimes," including the theft of a guinea pig and a ceramic figure. The four-day unit, in which several suspects have been identified and, in some cases, have taken polygraph tests -- calls for students to collaborate to draw conclusions about the crimes.
