Report: Patient wait times for nonemergency care fall in Mass.

A report by the Massachusetts Medical Society revealed physician wait times in the state remained stable or have become shorter for all specialties except for internal medicine, pediatrics and orthopedic surgery. The study also noted wide acceptance of Medicare, ranging from 85% among internal medicine specialists to 98% for specialists in orthopedic surgery.
