SAP to reallocate resources related to Business ByDesign software

SAP said it plans to migrate its Business ByDesign applications for small to midsized businesses into its HANA cloud software platform, but it rejected a report that it is shuttering the Web-based product line. SAP spent seven years and more than $4 billion to develop Business ByDesign, yet the product reportedly has fewer than 800 customers and generates just $31.5 million in annual revenue.
