SHOP health care program delays give small businesses more time to plan for 2014

The delay of access to information about available plans through the Small Business Health Options Program, a health care exchange for businesses with 50 or fewer employees, puts pressure on businesses offering health care through SHOP to move quickly once the exchange opens Nov. 1. The delay does allow businesses the opportunity to look more deeply into other options, however, to find the best available choices for 2014 beyond and including SHOP.
