Solvay wins innovation award for Govanil

Solvay Aroma Performance was awarded Best Product Innovation by ICIS for its Govanil vanilla flavoring, which reduces sugar and fat in foods. Launched in 2012, Govanil has an intense vanilla flavor but also enhances other flavors, like butter, eggs, caramel and fruit, which allows it for use in formulating products with reduced sugar and fat.
