Technology has changed the business of sales, Pink says

No matter their job, all workers are in sales in the sense that they are trying to persuade other people to give up something in exchange for what they are offering, said Dan Pink, business consultant, former vice presidential speechwriter and author of "To Sell Is Human," speaking at FPA Experience. Technology has made the business of selling a more even playing field than in the past because of the access buyers have to information, he said. "It's now 'seller beware'; if you try and rip someone off, they'll find out and they have the resources to tell everyone," Pink said.
