UN resolution stipulates inclusion of women in peace process

The United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2122 on Friday, which emphasizes the need for women to be included all areas of peace processes. "Resolution 2122 demonstrates the security council's intention to put women's leadership at the center of all efforts to resolve conflict and promote peace," says Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, executive director of UN Women.
