Why organizational change is necessary for gender equality

Encouraging women to act more like their male peers is not the right way to tackle the persistent gender inequality in business leadership, writes Jon Dymond, a director at Hay Group. "Nurturing diversity is not about enabling women to fit in with the 'way we do things round here'; it's about fundamentally changing the way things are done," Dymond writes. Moreover, making this sort of organizational change will help companies to deal with modern business issues, Dymond writes.
