Survey: Do-not-call registry will force marketing strategy shift

A survey of DM News readers found that 60% planned to shift resources from telemarketing to e-mail marketing and direct mail as a result of the national do-not-call registry. Of the 317 readers polled, 81% said the would concentrate on snail mail, and nearly 69% said they would use online channels.
