US Airways maintenance plans stopped by court order

A temporary injunction is keeping US Airways from outsourcing heavy maintenance on its Airbus planes until an appeal of the federal judge's ruling can be heard. Although the carrier reported a third-quarter loss that was down from last year's -- $90 million in 2003 as opposed to $335 million in 2002 -- CEO David Siegel said that costs still had to be cut to gain profitability.
