TV stations face advertising pressure with new shows

ABC's "Desperate Housewives" lost Tyson Foods and Lowe's as sponsors this week following a campaign by the conservative American Family Association, which objected to the show's portrayal of parenting. NBC has faced similar objections to its "Father of the Pride" series, but media analysts say such protest campaigns are usually short-lived.
