Coke pushes recycling

Coca-Cola has pledged $60 million to a number of recycling initiatives, including the production of T-shirts from recycled material and the construction of new bottle recycling plants, one of which will manufacture new bottles from old ones. The moves occur in the wake of a growing backlash against bottled water because of environmental concerns of consumers and advocacy groups.
