Company helps neighbors meet online

LifeAt.com has put a new spin on the social-networking concept by creating sites that connect people who live as close as the next apartment unit. More than 335 buildings have signed up for the service since the Brooklyn-based company began in March, and around 600 more are set to introduce LifeAt Web sites by the end of 2007.
