Delta battles for New York market

Delta's home may be in Atlanta, but the company has set its sights on creating a major presence in the New York market. The carrier is touting its refurbished JFK terminals and has appointed a vice president to oversee customer service at that airport. "Delta has to be here. If we didn't think we could win, we wouldn't be here," said a Delta spokeswoman.
