Milk serves up important nutrients

Fortified milk provides 25% of our daily value for vitamin D, while an 8-ounce glass of milk contains 30% of daily calcium needs. Three 8-ounce servings of milk daily are recommended by the American Dietetic Association for long-term health benefits and high levels of nutrients, including vitamin A, potassium and riboflavin.
