Gift cards, parties are part of new trend to encourage screenings

Public health advocates are using gift cards, gas cards, goodies and even parties to entice people to have health care screenings. A Colorado hospital hired a limo to escort colonoscopy patients to their appointments -- offering them martini glasses filled with water. Some physicians are concerned, however, about follow-up for the patients.
