Aide: White House finds Senate push for climate bill "very encouraging:"

Developments in the Senate's climate-change legislation have encouraged the White House to keep advancing the bill even if it is not finished by December, said Carol Browner, an Obama administration adviser. If the measure is not approved by the time the U.N. begins discussions in Copenhagen on an international treaty on global warming, the U.S. would still "be able to manage" during the talks, she added.
