Federal grant will support New Jersey programs for dropouts

New Jersey will use $6.25 million in federal grant funding for YouthBuild education programs that serve high-school dropouts across the state. State officials have credited YouthBuild, which helps dropouts earn equivalency diplomas and vocational certifications through individualized programs, with helping to reduce crime.
