Judge rules craigslist is not pimping

A federal judge, in a civil lawsuit brought by Tom Dart, the sheriff of Cook County, Ill., against craigslist, has ruled the online classifieds site cannot be held liable in prostitution cases allegedly stemming from its listings. "Sheriff Dart may continue to use craigslist's Web site to identify and pursue individuals who post allegedly unlawful content ... but he cannot sue Craigslist for their conduct," U.S. District Judge John Grady wrote.
