Study: SMBs look for marketing boost through social media

A recent study from BIA/Kelsey found that cost-conscious owners of small to medium-size businesses are increasingly turning to social media and networking sites to gain a marketing edge. The report found that 9% of midmarket companies market their business by using Twitter. About a third of SMBs plan to bolster their marketing mix with social media over the next year, according to the study.
