AirTran CEO sees more low fares after Southwest deal:

AirTran Airways' upcoming combination with Southwest Airlines won't result in higher ticket prices, AirTran CEO Bob Fornaro told a business conference on Thursday. One big, low-cost carrier will simply magnify the effect of two smaller ones, he argued. "You're going to see more low fares in small- and mid-sized communities. You're going to see the effect go into international."
