Debate heats up as Delta unionization vote approaches

A pending vote in the coming weeks for Delta Air Lines employees to unionize has led to heated exchanges between management and labor leaders. The unionization vote would be the largest at a U.S. company since the 1940s and involve 50,000 eligible flight attendants and ground workers. Delta Chief Executive Richard Anderson has said the labor organizers are using a "fear and smear" campaign, while some labor leaders say that Delta is trying to demonize unions.
