Premium channel customers were more satisfied with their DIRECTV and DISH Network service than those who subscribed to cable, according to a J.D. Power and Associates survey of more than 20,000 people. Those who subscribe to premium channels also proved to be more loyal customers than those with basic tiers. "Television providers catering to these high-value subscribers with video-on-demand and mobile applications will be well positioned to keep these customers and grow their relationship, moving forward," J.D. Power's Frank Perazzini said.
