Chinese regulator lets JPMorgan offer money fund

The China Securities Regulatory Commission has given JPMorgan Chase's locally incorporated bank approval to provide a local-currency money market fund to corporate and institutional clients. "Institutional and corporate clients in China are growing in size and sophistication ... demanding more robust investment solutions and service," said John Donohue, head of JPMorgan Global Liquidity.
