Dairy's saturated fat is good for the heart, cardiologist says

Saturated fats found in dairy foods such as cheese and milk are not as bad for the heart as most think, according to Aseem Malhotra, interventional cardiology specialist registrar at London's Croydon University hospital. "Recent prospective cohort studies have not supported significant association between saturated fat intake and cardiovascular risk. Instead, saturated fat has been found to be protective," he said.
