How blended learning models vary across the country

Educators nationwide are implementing blended learning, but observers have found that the model varies -- with the common thread being the use of technology. This article outlines six common blended-learning formats, including one in which online learning supplements face-to-face instruction. Other models include rotation, which follows a fixed schedule; online lab, in which students visit an in-person site; and online driver, in which work is mostly done remotely.
