More surgeons offering TRAM flap reconstruction

A patient who was first treated for breast cancer 20 years ago says she was surprised at how many more reconstruction options are available now. She opted to have TRAM flap reconstruction after having a mastectomy recently to treat a second bout of breast cancer. She said she looks like her "old self" when she looks in the mirror, and her friends cannot tell which breast was reconstructed.
