Trader is accused of conspiring with others to manipulate Libor

Former UBS trader Tom Hayes appeared in court Monday in London, where prosecutors alleged that he conspired with 22 others to manipulate the London Interbank Offered Rate. Meanwhile, Deutsche Bank's investigation into potential Libor manipulation has led to the discovery of a chat room through which traders might have conspired, a source says, leading the bank to expand the inquiry.
