Massachusetts bridge gets seismic overhaul

Work is under way on a project to make a bridge over the Neponset River between Quincy, Mass., and Boston earthquake-proof. J.F. White Contracting Co. of Framingham, Mass., has a $20 million contract with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to repair 55 of the bridge's piers.
