UN survey identifies dangerous wealth gap in U.S.

A UN survey of 120 major cities finds New York is the ninth most unequal worldwide in terms of income inequality. Altanta, New Orleans, Washington and Miami were all found to have levels of income disparity similar to those of Nairobi and Ivory Coast. Income inequality is considered a major factor in social unrest.
