Ancient Korean liquor is now trendy

Makgeolli, a milky Korean liquor that's lightly carbonated and sweet, has a history that stretches back centuries, but fell out of favor because of steep taxes and restrictions when Korea was ruled by Japan starting in 1910. Now, the drink is being rediscovered as a trendy cocktail, particularly in chic Seoul bars.
