Honda makes 2 million friends through Facebook push

American Honda Motor Co.'s "Social Experiment" has resulted in the automaker amassing 2 million friends on its Facebook page. The campaign included ads on the social network and prime-time TV spots from independent RPA, Santa Monica, Calif., but reportedly had its biggest impact with an Oct. 19 homepage "takeover" on popular sites such as ESPN.com, CNN.com and SportsYahoo.com.
