N.Y. halts mandatory flu shots for health workers

New York state has suspended a controversial requirement that all health care workers get vaccinated for seasonal and H1N1 flus, due to a shortage of the H1N1 vaccine. State officials said they wanted to use their vaccine stock for high-risk populations, such as pregnant women and children.
