Employees value benefits when choosing employers, study finds

Four in five workers say the benefits offered by their employers factored in their decision of where to work, according to a survey by Mercer. Interest has grown among employees for employer-sponsored wellness programs as employees' share of health expenses has risen, the study found. Changes brought about by the federal health care law will affect the health plans of more than a third of insured workers, the study found.
