Think twice before bringing family members into business deals

Be wary of doing business with family because relationships can sour fast when deals go south, writes Michael Hess of Skooba Design. Relatives may say they understand the risks, but your relationship with them likely will suffer if you lose their money. And if business is strained, family gatherings may become awkward, Hess writes.
