Apple iPad Mini is just right for BYOD, analysts say

Apple on Tuesday took the wraps off its iPad Mini, a 7.9-inch tablet that analysts say is likely to be a success with workers. Since many businesses already use earlier versions of the iPad, market watchers such as Jack Gold of J. Gold Associates say the Mini -- which is software-compatible with larger iPads -- presents a smaller, lower-cost alternative. Other experts say the device may be popular with women.
