Students could benefit from enhanced "College 101" courses

A recent study of "College 101" courses in Virginia community colleges finds they were beneficial in improving students' "skills and knowledge of college resources." However, the study by the Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia University, also found that improvement was needed. Researchers suggest the courses go deeper in depth and include more involvement from faculty.
