A $10 million dispute that centered on the "magic carpet roof" of the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford, Conn., has been resolved. A lawsuit claimed that the design plans for the $165 million building were "inadequate," causing the roof to sag. This necessitated the installation of roof supports, which contributed to a delay of 18 months in the opening of the building.
