ACA tech issues addressed in White House meeting with insurers

HHS and top Obama administration officials met Wednesday with CEOs of at least 12 insurance companies to discuss the Affordable Care Act's faulty enrollment system. The meeting addressed the system's troubles producing accurate enrollment information for participating insurers and problems that emerge as consumers try to go directly to insurers, skipping the federal website. "The CEOs were able to provide an on-the-ground perspective of how open enrollment is proceeding," America's Health Insurance Plans spokesman Robert Zirkelbach said.
