Beyond the Rack teams with Shoppers Drug Mart on rewards

Montreal-based flash-sale fashion site Beyond the Rack has partnered with Canada's largest pharmacy chain, Shoppers Drug Mart, on a new site called Optimum-Beyond the Rack. Shoppers has increased its focus on high-margin beauty products, and the new site offers additional points for purchases by customers who are members of Shoppers' Optimum loyalty card program. Jim Noteboom, a senior vice president at Shoppers, said he sees this move as the company's "first step to e-commerce".
