Colo. elementary program blends lessons on self-esteem, fitness

A Colorado elementary school has launched a local chapter of the national Girls on the Run program for third-, fourth- and fifth-grade girls. Participants meet twice a week for about 75 minutes in the program that aims to get them moving while building self-esteem and recognizing their potential. "Kind of that whole theme of believing in yourself," said teacher Jenny Rosenfels, who founded the club.
