Fla. teachers attend Holocaust education workshop

History teachers and school administrators from Leon County Schools in Florida recently attended a workshop about how to integrate the Holocaust into their lesson plans. Attendees of the annual workshop, sponsored by the Holocaust Education Resource Council, watched documentaries and heard the stories of survivors, among other things. Elementary-school teacher Merry Berry said students want to learn lessons about the Holocaust. "They always want to go much deeper," she said.
