IBM debuts cloud-innovation center for government sector

IBM says its new Federal Cloud Innovation Center in Washington, D.C., is focused on providing expert help to government agencies developing cloud services and working with open standards, as well as Big Data initiatives and mobile strategies. Jane Snowdon, IBM's chief innovation officer for U.S. Federal, is running the center.
