Genetic mutation carries higher risk of breast cancer

A new study to be published in Science confirms women who carry the BRCA mutation have a much higher risk of developing breast cancer, even if there has been no family history. The study also found, however, that women with the genetic mutation who exercised and weren't overweight as teenagers developed breast cancer later in life.
