Goodrich continues to gain on military and space

Although its third-quarter profits beat market expectations, landing-gear manufacturer Goodrich, saw its profits slip to $34 million from $49 million at the same time last year. Goodrich's military and space divisions continued to perform well, while its commercial aerospace business reflected the fall-off in new plane orders.
