Women control the lion's share of travel dollars

Although women make more than three-quarters of all travel decisions with respect to both family and business trips, many marketers are not tailoring ads to them. To capture the female travel planner's attention, ads must focus on the "humanity" of travel" and shared experiences with friends and family, instead of emphasizing amenities like a pool or spa.
