Apple drives touch screens, but Samsung, Motorola lead

Samsung and Motorola's huge presence in Asia still enables those companies to dominate the mobile touch-screen market, but Apple's iPhone has acted as a driving force in the product's growth, ABI Research says. The research firm said that the number of touch-screen handsets almost doubled in the last two years and that Apple sold 6.9 million iPhones in its latest quarter.
