DHS unveils new biodefense lab in Maryland

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday dedicated the $143 million National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center in Maryland. About 150 scientists will work at the 160,000-square-foot center once it is fully operational in March. Outside air flows into the building and is digitally monitored.
