Tokyo's Haneda Airport unveils expanded international facilities

Officials in Tokyo on Sunday planned to open a $1.3 billion international terminal at Haneda Airport, the busy facility 30 minutes from downtown that was previously largely restricted to domestic flights. In addition to the terminal, Haneda also got a fourth runway, boosting the airport's capacity by more than a third. Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have received government permission to serve the newly expanded airport.
